My Love Letter to the Community…
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I have dedicated my career to the Data, AI and Analytics space. I’ve had the honor to write two books on the subject and collaborated with hundreds of organizations across the world to help them compete with data.
In about a week, I will be kicking off the Oracle Analytics Summit. I couldn’t be more excited to share the details of the event and of the spirit with which my team and I approached this opportunity.
About 6 weeks ago, when we decided to turn this physical event into the virtual experience, we did so out of pure dedication for our community, its safety, and our continued commitment to YOU, your personal and professional success.
Our job is to create a platform that customers, partners and passionate analytics leaders can use to share their success.
My team and I did not approach this crisis as a threat. We approached it as an opportunity to demonstrate the strength of our commitment to YOU and back it up with actions. In a time when your work conditions have changed and when your personal routine is being challenged, we did not feel that postponing, or maybe worst, canceling our event would be appropriate.
Instead, we felt that it was our duty to support YOU by making ourselves more available, more often, and to many more of YOU.
The original physical event had a capacity of a few hundred and required you to come to us. Today’s new experience already counts…
